In depth

Verdict

Dubai Venture is bound to be popular with backers on his favoured fast ground but Sir Michael Stoute's unexposed colt has more to do against older rivals off his new mark today and preference is for Namat, who gets the vote ahead of Millville. The selection made a winning return here over 1m2f last month and followed up over today's trip on her only subsequent start when out-battling another tough performer Feed The Meter at Newmarket. A 3lb rise for that latest success seems to be perfectly fair for the four-year-old, who is taken to land a four-timer. Most Definitely has claims on the form shown at Doncaster two starts ago but disappointed at York recently and may be best watched now, while Cripsey Brook has yet to prove his effectiveness over today's trip. Sualda looks to be running into a bit of form right now and cannot be discounted completely, while a market move for Idealistic would be of interest. Millville has solid claims on the evidence of his latest start at Haydock but has gone up 4lbs for that and a safer bet looks to be the progressive Namat, who is taken to win again.
