Musashi, Dark Oasis and Whaston are the trio to focus on here, with MUSASHI taken to make the most of a drop in grade. Dark Oasis has run respectably in defeat this year, second in a non seller at Wolverhampton probably the pick of his efforts. He was made favourite on his drop into selling grade for the first ime on his most recent start, and finished a decent second. He can be thereabouts but others may have more scope. An Ayr handicap winner last summer over a slightly shorter trip, Whaston is more exposed but nonetheless has every chance judged on his second in a seller over this course and distance last time. Musashi has not been seen since disappointing in a Southwell maiden in January. However, his stamina may have been stretched that day, and he may not have handled the surface. His earlier second in a good Great Leighs handicap looks good form in the context of this race, and Musashi is thought capable of landing his first venture into selling class.
