    Verdict

Henry Cecil's ALPHA TAURI is taken to collect the finale, with Reject and Midnight Fantasy the dangers, while the market should be heeded regarding the chances of speedily bred debutant Monsieur Harvey from a respected yard. Midnight Fantasy showed improved form through last year, but appeared just a touch one paced and is opposed. Reject finished well after a tardy start on debut at Pontefract, and looks a threat though that form is hard to weigh up and he may need further. Alpha Tauri showed some promise as a juvenile, and was made favourite to score on his seasonal debut, but was a close second. He drops back in trip here, and he may have sufficient quality to see off his rivals here.
