Verdict

Fool Me, Codeword and Fish Called Johnny look the three to concentrate on here and we will side with Codeword. Codeword outpointed the smart Vauquelin inside the last furlong in a good race at York on his debut, showing a really gritty and professional attitude. There should be plenty more to come. Fool Me came up against a real star in Coventry Stakes winner Helvellyn on his Leicester debut and wasn¿t beaten far. He showed the benefit of that run by gamely beating Cavort at the same track and he could be the one to chase home the selection. Fish Called Johnny showed plenty of speed when successful at Nottingham last tiome and he should be in the thick of it again. However Codeword has more scope for improvement and gets the vote.
