In depth

Verdict

Dutch Uncle has been left on the same mark despite being beaten 20 lengths in a good-quality Epsom handicap last month but will go close at his best, though the concession of 21lb to bottom weight CARNAGEO (NAP) could prove a stumbling block. The Fahey inmate was an easy scorer at this track on the first day of June and wasn't disgraced in a much better Haydock contest next time. Fellow three-year-old High Draw is also highly respected on the back of a competitive effort at Sandown behind Gibbs Hill on Saturday and Corton Lad can not be discounted as he always seems to run to his mark.
