Verdict

The two horses rated in the 70's look set to dominate here and narrow preference is for CHELSEA MORNING ahead of Ceoil An Aith; newcomer Diamond Mm may prove to be the best of the rest. Barry Hills does well with the horses he sends to the north and this 72-rated filly has already shown enough to suggest she can win a race of this ilk. Any rain wouldn't be an issue judged by her recent second to Sea Of Galilee at Nottingham and she should take plenty of beating. Her main rival will be Ceoil An Aith but as an older horse she has to concede plenty of weight to her younger rival. She looks a strong stayer and her proven form over this trip is an asset however she is unproven on anything softer than good to firm ground so might not want rain. Diamond Mm is a newcomer to flat racing but she has had three bumper runs and has shaped with promise on two of them, having run out at Kelso when a well-backed favourite. The market needs watching for Lynn's Lady but the yard aren't associated with debutante winners, whilst Fantastic Storm is another offspring of Fantastic Light who needs to step up on his Hamilton debut but the longer trip today will help. Not a strong race and a good chance for Chelsea Morning to win over a trip that should suit.
