In depth

Verdict

National Hunt trainers will be keeping an eye out to see how some of these fare today and, with the winter game in mind, Tiger Frog, although worse off at the weights with Heartshead Dream, can confirm his superiority as things unfold here. Trusted Mole and Archirondel are consistent types for a race of this nature and also come into the argument on the best of their efforts. The latter does have a bit to find on recent form though and may have to settle for a minor role this time. Trusted Mole - a previous course and distance winner - has dropped to a favourable mark and, having been given a short break to freshen up, he should go well today. However, Tiger Frog is back in the right grade today and will be very hard to get past if he is in the same frame of mind he was in when successful at Hamilton on his penultimate start.
