In depth

Verdict

Fragrant Dawn returns to action having failed to land the odds at Chelmsford back in October though wasn’t beaten far on either start last year. Dancingwithwolves finished a lot closer upped to today’s distance at Lingfield last time while Dabouk looks a likely improver along with COUNTRY. The latter had a tough introduction at Doncaster last month behind Fox Champion, who won again at Newmarket last week, and the Haggas colt will find this easier stepping up in distance. Stone Cougar is the first foal of a Group 3 winner and a newcomer to note.
