    Verdict

BAJAN PRIDE can win again, primarily at the expense of Kyle Of Bute and Avitus. This looks a winnable race and Richard Fahey's Selkirk gelding was a ready winner at Carlisle earlier in the week. He should still be fairly-treated under his penalty and with the ground in his favour and form on flat tracks in the past he can win again. Smirfy's Silver has shaped with more promise this season and should be winning soon, Tripbiyah is now 4lb lower in the handicap than when starting out at Wolverhampton, whilst Kyle Of Bute holds Smirfy's Silver on their run behind Scamperdale at Leicester and is considered despite a 2lb higher mark. Avitus is able to race off the same mark as when second to King's Counsel here earlier in the month, and along with course and distance winner Miss Ferney is far from discounted although the latter needs to come on plenty for her recent seasonal reappearance. This looks a good opportunity for Bajan Pride to win again.
