        Verdict

        The veteran 10-year-old Fatehalkhair has to give upwards of a stone to his ten rivals in this two-mile handicap, but Brian Ellsion's veteran will relish the drop in class from his last effort when 15th behind Bamgalore in the Foster's Lager Northumberland Plate at Newcastle. Blair bids for a three-timer after victories over this course and at Musselburgh, both over a two-furlong shorter trip, while Simple Ideals is also a course winner and showed signs of a return to form when a close third at Nottingham last time out.
