      Verdict

Ben Lily has been a revelation since stepping up to this trip, completing a hat-trick of Class 6 handicap victories though only by a short-head last time. A 6lb penalty in higher grade might be enough to prevent a four-timer. CORNERSTONE LAD progressed into a high-class hurdler last year with a victory in the Grade 1 Fighting Fifth at Newcastle the highlight. He hasn't been seen since pulling up in the Champion Hurdle but with more rain forecast he has the class to see these off. Nikolayeva is a consistent performer at this trip on any ground though is looking a bit high in the ratings after completing a double in minor company while Dangeroffizz has never been further than 1m4f though his pedigree suggests he'll be suited. Ghadbbaan had been racing over a mile before stepping up to 1m4f at Thirsk and running his best race to date.
