Verdict

The step up in trip may suit Chantilly Pearl whose recent run behind Mo Mhuirnin looks decent, however STATESIDE was a good winner on Tuesday and can win again if quickly turned out. Richard Fahey could win with the stable cat at the moment, and the Musley Bank trainer sends out Stateside here. The filly chases a hat-trick following wins at Ayr and Hamilton but she can repeat the feat now south of the border as she really seems to have come to herself. Charismatic Lady is open to improvement after just three starts and she showed more promise last time, as did Waltzalong but her initial mark of 56 still looks high enough for what she has actually achieved. Awaken is a course and distance winner but she has shown precious little of late, a comment that also applies to Royal Fantasy. At a price Tour D'Amour could run well with Tom Eaves a good jockey booking. This mare was a good fourth to Fell Pack at Newcastle on her penultimate start and she does have winning form on quick ground. This looks a good opportunity for Stateside to win again.
