Verdict

Crosshue Boy won a maiden over three miles here in May and beat the subsequent winner Draycott Place at around this trip at KIlbeggan last month. He makes a quick reappearance after unseating his rider early at Galway on Tuesday and should make a bold bid to gain compensation. ST STEPHENS GREEN (NAP) was making his handicap debut when beaten a length by Heartbreak City over the minimum at Galway with Baby Jake behind. He was conceding 6lb to the subsequent Ebor winner then landed the odds in comfortable style at Killarney and though tackling much further here is expected to stay and should land this before tackling better company. Cassells Rock is trained by Tony Martin, who is responsible for Heartbreak City, so he should have a good line on the form though today's entry hasn't been in very good heart. Apache Jack, third in the Grade 1 Albert Bartlett at Cheltenham in 2014, will probably be heading back over fences before long and may just need this.
