      Verdict

      Maven usually takes time to find her form but her recent effort suggests she's ready to roll and Rachel Richardson takes off a useful 7lb. It's tempting to go along with the combination but TENDER EMOTION looked a useful prospect last term and this step up to 1m2f looks ideal. The Godolphin team has hit the ground running this time around and she's just preferred to the more battle-hardened Easterby inmate. Lyric Ballad might need this first run of the season and Saltwater Creek takes a major rise in grade so A Star In My Eye is preferred for as she looks to have more to offer entering her four-year-old career with just eight starts under her belt.
