Verdict

Athollblair Boy landed a Ripon maiden before finding softer ground against him at Hamilton though he looks to have enough weight as does Extortion, who scrambled home in a Hamilton t-maiden in September. Zain Emperor reappeared over 7f at Kempton where he led for much of the way so he has to be on the short-list while Avenue Of Stars looked progressive when successful on his reappearance in a Wolverhampton maiden. The Name's Paver has shown potential on much softer ground but in a tight handicap it's GINGER JOE who gets the nod as he's been leading for a long way when tackling 7f at Lingfield after scoring over that trip at Southwell. Phantom Flipper has yet to win a race and Baby Ballerina ran ran poorly on her reappearance at Ripon, though the heavy ground was probably responsible.
