In depth

Formwatch

Robzelda looks good enough to take a fairly weak handicap. This ex-Irish trained horse started last season with a third to the smart Katy Nowaitee at Doncaster but surprisingly failed to win a race after that. However, he started this season on a very attractive mark and bounced back to form when third to The Whistling Teal here earlier in the month and this looks to be an easier opportunity. Chief Wardance was a narrow winner on the same card last time, having earlier been placed behind Bawsian at Doncaster and looks an obvious danger, although a line through Bawsian gives Robzelda the advantage. Lorenzino has won over hurdles this year and is hard to assess as his only flat form was over in Ireland but he certainly can't be ruled out while Perchancer was an easier winner on the sand last time but up to now he has not been as effective on turf.
