      Verdict

Auction Room is on the upgrade and can come out on top again, with Tiptoeing, Blushing Hilary, Gillipops and Ribald all likely to play a part. Having just been touched off by subsequent winner Nihal when sent off as favourite at Ayr the time before last, Auction Room duly went one better when stepped up to a mile at Chepstow three weeks ago. Driven out to score, she won readily from a decent bunch, and although not up to Fillies' Mile standard, the daughter of Chester House should easily be good enough to land this nursery. Tiptoeing is going the right way and will benefit from the extra furlong here judged by the way she stayed on at Lingfield last time. With Saleem Golam taking five-pounds off her back, the Mark Tompkins filly can go well at a decent price. Blushing Hilary was giving lumps of weight away to Spunger when a close second at Musselburgh, and that improved run augurs well for her chance, while Gillipops tries a mile for the first time and will have no trouble staying on breeding. Hayley Turner can still use her claim until Friday, having been given three days grace since hitting the 35 mark on Monday, so her mount Ribald has to be respected. She is still getting the hang of things though, and on this occasion Auction Room can prove too strong.
