Verdict

LUMINOUS (NAP) is one of the least exposed and with this extra distance expected to suit, Simon Crisford’s charge gets the vote on the back of a second over a mile at Beverley. Sir Gnet is another upped in trip after placing over a mile while Epitaph debuts for Mick Appleby having made the frame at Limerick on a couple of occasions back in April. Mr C was third in a handicap last time and has more scope than Akkadian Empire and Satish while winning hurdling and chaser Vodka Wells returns to the Flat for the first time since 2014.
