In depth

Verdict

Al Jellaby showed promise on his Salisbury debut for a yard that is having both a fine season in general and with their juveniles. He is an obvious player here with normal improvement levels anticipated. Godolphin unveil two newcomers of real interest of which the immaculately-bred DUBHE makes greater appeal than Wings Of Gold at this stage and is taken to make a winning debut in the hope that he'll be the subject of strong market support. Wings Of Gold has to be of interest too whilst Carlini is another newcomer to consider. Letsbe Avenue will have improved for his first run if traditional Hannon juvenile strategy comes into play but Mildenberger has to be seen as the main danger after making a comfortable winning debut at Haydock. He has his penalty to deal with and this looks a tougher race but he's well respected all the same.
