Plenty of in-form horses here and the tentative vote goes to Osolomio ahead of Just Lille and Night Hour. The selection comes here in top form and Alan Swinbank's son of Singspiel should give punters another run for their money. A winner of four of his eight most recent starts, the horse is in good nick and should be feared, especially if gaining an uncontested lead. Galient and Night Hour represent trainers who have very profitable records at the track and each should be respected now dropping in grade, whilst Just Lille steps up in trip and may just falter up the Pontefract hill. Heathyards Pride has a tremendous strike-rate and should go well once again although this is a more competitive race, whilst Leslingtaylor should have come on for his recent outing. Record Breaker gets a weight-allowance as a three-year-old, however Osolomio is in top form and gets the vote.
