In depth

Verdict

There is virtually nothing between the field on the official ratings and it is thus still a tricky race to fathom out despite the lack of numbers. However, as B A Highflyer is hard to win with, Earlston is questionable over the trip and Summer Shades is out of form. The process of elimination brings us to Val De Maal, who has hinted that his turn is near with two near misses of late. This stiff uphill finish should hold no fears for him as he has the stamina for at least a furlong father than this and this ease in grade may be just what is required for Greg Chung to get a confidence booster into him. B A Highflyer may chase the selection home for forecast players.
