In depth

Verdict

Only a handful of these make any real appeal and it may be best left to Tony Tie, Cyclonic Storm and Satyr to scrap it out. And Tony Tie edges it over Cyclonic Storm, despite what appears to be a welter burden at the weights. The Jim Goldie-trained selection displayed great tenacity in scoring at Beverley last week and can be relied upon to run his race again here. He is proven as a effective weight carrier and, unlike Cyclonic Storm, he should have no problems with the predicted going. He is also still treated off his current mark on the pick of his form and may still have enough in hand to concede weight to some inconsistent rivals here.
