        Verdict

        A runner-up three times last year, Florestans Match boasts the best two-year-old form ahead of Royal Liaison, who also finished runner-up on a couple of occasions. But a couple of newcomers take the eye including Ziraun. She cost 95,000gns and is a half-sister to two sprint winners, but CANASHITO is just preferred. The Oasis Dream filly doesn't have any fancy entries but Barry Hills' outstanding strike rate with his three-year-old runners at this track swings the vote her way. Flashbang is another debutante to note for yard running into form.
