        Verdict

        Hits Only Jude was having his 28th start on turf when gaining his first success at Musselburgh on Friday and escapes a penalty as it was an apprentice race. Nolecce has been raised 7lb on the all-weather for scoring with a bit in hand at Kempton and is well in here. He looks certain to give a good account though a high draw tempers enthusiasm slightly. Aussie Blue is 8lb higher than when scoring over the C&D in September but DESERT HUNTER will be at home on fast ground as he was when landing a 0-75 handicap over the C&D in June and now might be the right time to catch him.
