      Verdict

      A tight betting heat despite the relatively small field. River Amora goes well for today's rider as he showed when landing a maiden chase over this course and distance earlier in the month and was far from disgraced in slightly better company on his latest start. He should go well off the same mark as should Reach The Clouds who has been struggling to get his head in front of late but the handicapper is finally relenting and he can't be ruled out even under top weight. Tommy Carson is a dual winner here and will handle the ground but preference is for Granby Bell who was a highly impresive scorer here last term and has run well in useful handicap company since. This represents a drop in class and Emma Lavelle's charge can take full advantage.
