      Verdict

A case could be made for Dragon Khan is a race like this on the pick of his Irish form, though he was behind Chivers at Leicester last month. Sir Hubert turned in a shocker here last time but was second twice over course and distance before that. Royal Etiquette also has recent placed form over track and trip though the 10-year-old is also still striving for a first victory over timber. THUNDERING HOME knows where the winning post is, however, as he proved at Wincanton at the start of the month. He’s been raised 8lb for that but Alice Mills again takes off 5lb and Richard Mitchell’s grey is difficult to oppose.
