In depth

Verdict

Not the most prolific bunch in the world and perhaps this is a good opportunity for KIZZY O to take advantage. Michael Hourigan's mare is yet to win on the track but she shaped in defeat last time as if the step back up to this trip will suit. One assumes that her failure at 6/4 in May was down to soft ground so she wouldn't want a deluge of rain, however this looks a winnable race and she could make hay off a lowly mark of 85. Turbulent Flight returns to hurdles following some poor chasing efforts, Graphex is here to try and squeeze into the fifth place prize money of ¿117, whilst Paddys Honour needs to bounce back having been pulled up last time but he is a player on his previous Exeter second in May. Solway Bay is one of the more consistent in the line-up and his day cannot be far away, although he is up 5lb for a recent third and tries the cheek-pieces this afternoon. Hows Trix completes the field and represents a yard who tend to do well at this time of year, however he goes without the tongue-tie that has seen him run his best races, and we will return to Kizzy O as the very tentative selection.
