Verdict

MHILU looks to have found another winnable race and is preferred to Safari Adventures and Carrick Dhu. Gordon Elliott's record at the track is very good, as is the form of his yard at present. This gelding is not the most straightforward but he has plenty of ability, as shown when seeing off subsequent winner Armenian Boy with little difficulty last time out. The drop in trip is not a worry for this strong traveller and assuming it doesn't rain too much then the ground should be ideal as well. Safari Adventures was a good winner of a solid handicap last time out at Southwell. He has plenty to find with the selection on official ratings but he has more experience over fences to his advantage and he will probably try to expose any frailties in his oppositions' jumping from the front. Alamiyan represents the small outfit who have got Sublimity as their flag bearer; this son of King's Best is yet to impress but one suspects that the foray across is not for nothing. Carrick Dhu drops in trip and has plenty to prove at present, so a bigger threat may be Jordan's Light who goes on any ground and has not been disgraced in two recent starts over fences. This doesn't look the hottest of races, and therefore it is another good opportunity for Mhilu to win again.
