CINAMAN is selected ahead of Stolen Light and Greengables. Tim Vaughan won this race last year and this horse was perhaps unfortunate to run up against the smart Bynack Mhor last time out. He stays further than this but there is obvious room for improvement off this low handicap mark. Stolen Light hails from an unfashionable stable though should not be discounted. This well bred ex-flat horse produced an improved effort at the course in June under a positive ride. Greengables has a decent third at Killarney in the locker. She has ability though can throw in the odd hairy leap. Strobe was a fair hurdler at lesser levels. He has it to prove over the larger obstacles. Emotive has been tried over a variety of trips in an effort to get his head infront. He seems fated to be in the frame again. Janal has run two stinkers of late and that makes her hard to enthuse about at present. Cinaman gets the nod.
