SWINCOMBE ROCK impressed on his final start for Robert and Sally Alner and can make a winning transition to his new yard here. Trying fences for the first time, he has to race off his reassessed hurdling mark of 120 but connections evidently have no fears and given his yard's record at the track he looks worth chancing over his optimum trip. Or De Grugy is a more experienced fencer and is back down to what looks a fair mark, whilst Ormello struggles to get his head in-front. Top Dressing's record fresh is not exceptional, and a bigger danger might be the Gordon Elliott-trained Perth regular King Roonah or Kyber, whose second to Twelve Paces looks solid form.
