In depth

Verdict

Cyborg De Sou, Kalou and Monticelli look the three to consider here with the vote going to the last named. Traveling from his Somerset base Monticelli has already won twice from four runs so far this season namely at Stratford in June and Newton Abbott last month. It has to be mentioned that in between those wins he has been disappointing but in a small field where he is able to have his own way he is to be feared so is worth staying on the right side of. Cyborg De Sou was a little in and out last season but has ability if the right frame of mind but is one to treat with caution. Kalou ran well on his seasonal reappearance when running into second spot and has put in some reasonable efforts since but looks weighted up to his best. So for the winner we return to Monticelli.
