    Verdict

Another small field goes to post for this seller and the principals look to be Double Blade, Effie Gray and Boss Tweed and the confident vote goes to Double Blade. The gelding from the Mary Reveley yard has been in good form of late and although he is hard to win with a reproduction of his latest second behind Kaki Crazy would suffice and with conditions again in his favour he is taken to score. Effie Gray rates the main danger on her third behind Warminghamsharpish but she has since disappointed so for that reason is opposed on this occasion. Boss Tweed is another that has place claims on his best form but his best efforts of late have come on softer ground. The remainder need to better their best to trouble the judge so the confident vote goes to Double Blade.
