Verdict

A typical 'watch the market' type of bumper here, with very little form to go on, and the selection goes to newcomer Noplanofaction to score in receipt of weight from likely rival Bearaway. The Jonjo O'Neill-trained Noplanofaction is by Be My Native and should therefore act on this ground. Sure to be fit enough, his trainer will have him well schooled for this first racecourse appearance and he can make it a winning one. Bearaway is one of the most experienced runner in the field and has to merit plenty of respect. Improving on his debut outing, he stayed on strongly to win at Southwell last time and can chase home the selection here. Tony Dobbin takes the mount of The Leazes here and that is a big plus for the Alan Dickman-trained gelding, who ran out of gas last time and still needs to improve to be involved here, while Mark Brisbourne's Iftikhar is another to consider and that market should be watched, though the vote to 'get out' goes with Noplanofaction.
