Verdict

This is a really competitive Conditional Jockeys' Handicap Hurdle where we'll take a bit of a chance that INTENSE SUSPENSE can turn some recent good point to point efforts into winning rules form while Beau Largesse could also be ready for a big run with Obara d'Avril also considered. Racing off bottom weight the selection turns out here after landing a hat-trick in the British pointing scene so is obviously in good heart. The tongue tie is applied for his second start in handicap company under rules and while his first effort was solid at best he will have no problems with the ground or trip while his jumping should be good enough. Beau Largesse is now down to a career low mark so while he is still a maiden after 22 start he may been seen in a better light under his current burden. Obara d'Avril was a winner last time out and although capable of another big run the seven pounds penalty on his back looks a bit prohibitive. Guerilla has potential for a good run as the gelding has progressed nicely since returning this season while Countrywide Sun will be race sharp after a run on the level recently. Not easy stuff to judge this but Intense Suspense has the call.
