Sooke Lady is a very interesting newcomer and should be watched for any market support, but Tazeez showed plenty of ability on his debut and he can go one better this afternoon, African Pursuits is another expected to go well. John Gosden's charge was only just touched off by Northern Spy here earlier this month. That was on fast ground so conditions at the moment are again ideal, but confidence would be tempered if the heavens open. African Pursuits was beaten by an 82 rated horse at Haydock last time out and is certainly going the right way. Sooke Lady is making a belated debut but is from a top yard and is a well bred daughter of Danhill Dancer. The best of the rest could be Hint Of Spring, but Tazeez is open to any amount on improvement and he gets our vote.
