In depth

Verdict

Peredur gets the vote in the opener with Jeu de Roseau and Sam Lord rating the main dangers. The selection hails from a very shrewd yard and this colt, half-brother to 1m3f-1m4f winner Penelope Star will not need to be anything special to make a winning debut under conditions that should suit. Jeu de Roseau rates the main danger on his debut third behind Won In The Dark. He looks sure to improve and with his yard liking a tilt at the ring he is another to note in the market. Sam Lord has looked a non-stayer in two runs to date and as he will be handicapped after this run he looks worth taking on. Of the remainder Mix N Match and Slavonic Lake also showed promise on their debuts and should improve but Peredur is taken to win this before going on to better things.
