      Verdict

Mexican Bob gets the confident vote here with Swordsman and Letalus rating the main dangers. The selection won in facile fashion last time out when beating Sergheyev. Granted he has a penalty and faster ground to contend with here but he acted on it on the flat and he is taken to win again. Swordsman rates the main danger as he was a fair sort in his native Germany on the flat and he should be closely watched in the market. Letalus was a fair third behind Dariak last time out and is another with place claims but he has already indicated he will be seen to better effect over a longer trip and he looks opposable on that basis. Shore Thing was a winner on the flat and is another that could go well but the suspicion is he will be better over a longer trip. Farewell Gift could improve for the fitting of first-time cheekpieces but the race fit Mexican Bob looks the one to be on.
