In depth

Verdict

There are some unfamiliar names among the riders in this amateurs' handicap but Hugo Hunt produced an assured performance at Doncaster last week so Hint Of Grey is definitely worth a second look. Blue Top won twice at Bath in the summer and Fast Play was successful at Windsor nine days ago, though carries a penalty. Monday Club was just beaten in a conditions race at Leicester earlier this month and has one of the more experienced amateurs on board but DARK AMBER looks well treated at present and can end a long losing run back over a more suitable trip.
