Verdict

Pensax Lad beat Jaarih, John Joiner and Billyoakes in a blanket finish at Sandown last month but is no certainty to confirm that form on today's terms. Storm Melody won well at Bath last time but a further drop in distance could be a problem as he'd shown his best form over 6f previously. Coiste Bodhar won over course and distance earlier this month but was due to run yesterday at Catterick. Flying Bear will probably find a couple too good again and Sir Theodore remains high enough in the weights but BAHAMIAN SUNRISE is only slowly creeping up the ratings, despite recent wins at Sandown and Brighton. A hat-trick could be on the cards if stall one doesn't prove a disadvantage. Mysterious Look has her first run since May and may be warming up for an all-weather campaign.
