In depth

Verdict

David Barron has his string in good order at present so Braddock, who made a winning debut under testing conditions at Southwell last month, is taken to make a winning start to his handicap career with Davidia and Rock Of Cloonavery rated the main dangers. Davidia seemed not to stay 1m2f at Lingfield last time and could be of interest dropping back in trip here, while Haiti Dancer is entitled to come on for her recent return at Warwick. Rebellious Spirit is proving to be expensive to follow and of more interest may be Waiting For Mary, who may be going the right way. Captain Bolsh is entitled to need the run and of more interest may be Rock Of Cloonavery, particularly if the market speaks in his favour. Braddock is the less exposed of these though and may be good enough to follow up his Southwell success.
