In depth

Verdict

Jennie Candlish may be primarily a jumps trainer but is having an excellent year on the Flat, having already exceeded her best-ever total with plenty of the season remaining for further progress. SHOW PALACE has contributed two successes this term, remains feasibly treated off a mark of 66 and pilot Tom Queally should be full of confidence after his gorgeous ride on The Tin Man over the weekend. This is Sleepy Blue Ocean's favourite turf track when away from his beloved Southwell but he's likely to need this and Oriental Relation could emerge as the danger on the best of his form this term. However, it's imperative to note Master Bond and Royal Acquisition in the market. Both have been bang out of form in the current campaign but a return to last season's best by either would make them essential shortlist material.
