In depth

Verdict

KAMRA (NAP) has to concede the sex allowance to some promising fillies but is taken to do so. Clearly well thought of, the US-bred colt was backed into odds-on for his racecourse debut but was far too green to justify such confidence before running an excellent second to Nobly Born with that experience under his belt next time up. That form looks strong as the winner went on to run a fine second to Mokarris in the Listed Rose Bowl Stakes at Newbury last Friday and Jeremy Noseda's Stay Thirsty colt can now get off the mark. Lightning North revealed plenty of potential when runner-up to Nile Empress at Yarmouth on debut and is greatly respected whilst both Stop The Wages and Indie Rock have also showed some promise and are preferred in that order, especially with Jordan Uys claiming a valuable 7lb on the Meehan filly.
