      Verdict

A wide open finale, with BUBSES BOY carrying our support, in preference to Deuce and Bollin Judith. A comfortable winner last time out, this is a big step up in trip for the Paul Howling gelding, who's never gone beyond 11 furlongs before. However, he looks the staying type and after breaking his maiden tag at the ninth time of asking there may be more success to come at this sort of distance. At this level though, there's little consistency. Deuce has been runner up in his last two outings, but again over a much shorter trip and on the Polytrack. Bollin Judith is regularly placed and has won over a mile and three quarters, which is more than the others can say, and the extra quarter of a mile shouldn't inconvenience. Given the lack of form and experience over two miles the market may guide us as we're taking on trust a number can get the trip, but we're happy to side (albeit with minimum stakes) with Bubses Boy.
