    Verdict

OLYNARD is capable of defying top weight status (including a penalty) to complete a hat-trick, with the main dangers expected to be Shangani and Tagula Night. Ralph Beckett's gelding has proved to be the progressive type, and won a similar race to this at Windsor last time out. He's giving away plenty of weight, but a seven pound claimer on board is a massive help. Shangani would have been a more comfortable winner last time out had the jockey not eased up; she won't be making the same mistake again, but keeps the ride to keep her competitive. She's Henry Candy's only runner on the card, but he often only sends one to a meeting. Tagula Night is similarly lightly raced, but with a progressive profile and is also a Windsor winner. Olymard's previously finished in front of Tagula Night and we think he will again as he completes the treble.
