Verdict

A visor may bring about a bit more improvement with Hester Brook but from out of the weights this looks a tough task and preference is for Dragon Slayer aheaad of Clear Sailing. The last-named needs a real check in the betting as he makes his debut for his new yard; after over a year off the track, this course and distance winner, formerly with Amanda Perratt has the form in the book to be a player. However there is less to take on trust if siding with Dragon Slayer, who won in July over this course and distance. He is not badly treated on this mark of 71 and he should appreciate the drop in trip this evening. Touch Of Style also drops in trip and has claims based on his good Newbury run, however his record doesn't get the pulse racing. Given A Choice caught a tartar in Askar Tau last time, and he knows how to win over this shorter trip so should be considered, however it is Dragon Slayer who can come out on top.
