Verdict

Of the four course and distance winners facing the starter, Prigsnov Dancer possibly makes most appeal though he was beaten off today's mark at Catterick last week. We'll take a chance on VERUS DELICIA, who should now be approaching peak fitness after three runs this term. She wasn't far behind Lees Anthem when second on similar going at Redcar in the autumn and is better off at the weights now. Niceonemyson dead-heated for third in that race but is now 6lb worse off. Indian Affair disappointed last time but is capable of better and Queen Hermione will have needed her recent comeback and is also worth a market check.
