        Verdict

        A tough finale can go to Flashing Blade, who is narrowly preferred over Disabuse and Habshan, who are fancied to put up the most resistance out of the rest, although Adobe is another that has a consistent profile at this level and is also worth considering for each-way players. Danger Bird will also be interesting if he is allowed to take his chance as he is lightly raced on turf and is still open to improvement. So to is Disabuse, who hails from one of the shrewdest yards in the north and a market move will give a solid indication as to whether this drop in trip will absolutely suit him. However, Flashing Blade was always going to be suited to this step up to a mile and won with a little in hand over course and distance last time. The daughter of Inchinor will not want the ground too soft though and a substantial downpour will temper the confidence a little. Nevertheless, Flashing Blade is less exposed than most and looks very well treated now that she has proved herself to be ideally suited by at least a mile.
