Advancement can land the nightcap with Kosciusko and Dark Energy serving as the most obvious foes. The selection landed a gamble at the course in fine style earlier in the month and connections have wisely elected to take a go at the Novice route rather than take on all-age handicappers. Kosciusko is sure to be popular with Tony McCoy booked. She beat a useful plater in Rapscallion at the course and is the type that Jimmy Frost has made a mainstay of his operation. Dark Energy has the mere problem of running into one too good, too often. He is perfectly genuine but ordinary. Ganymede was a stayer on the level and is still searching for a first hurdles win after eight starts. Head To Kerry appears to struggle to get the trip. Forest Lodge ran her best race to date at Wincanton but that isn't saying too much. Acapulco Bay has to reverse form with the selection on their most recent outing. The market will tell us whether this is achievable. Not a strong race in depth and Advancement looks the perecentage call.
