Despite one or two indifferent jumps, four-times Flat winner SWIFT CHAP made a promising debut over hurdles when third at Worcester. He can only improve and this looks a modest heat. Green Du Ciel is the likely danger but has only managed one place in 11 previous attempts over timber and Goodnight Alfie has more scope. David Pipe's French import was beaten a long way at Fontwell in May but was well supported and is almost certainly capable of better.
