In depth

Verdict

Kilfinichen Bay has been highly tried since winning on heavy going at Uttoxeter in April but faces no easy task here giving 10lb to chasing debutant FINGERONTHESWITCH. Neil Mulholland'ssix-year-old has already won between the flags so shouldn't have any problem with the transition from hurdles to fences – he achieved a rating of 138 over the smaller obstacles in the spring. Lady Of Longstone will have learnt plenty from her third at Worcester and Colin Tizzard runs two. Kingscourt Native's record over fences is less than impressive and Aidan Coleman prefers winning pointer Tempestatefloresco, even though he's having his first start under Rules.
